What's for Dinner?

One Simple Plan to Make Your Week Easier

Every Week Starts the Same Way...

Somewhere around 4:00 in the afternoon, someone opens the refrigerator.

Someone else looks in the freezer.

Then comes the question nearly every family asks...

"What's for dinner?"

At Lazy L Ranch, we've learned that dinner doesn't have to be stressful.

A little planning on Sunday can make the entire week feel easier.

Not because every meal has to be fancy.

Because knowing what's for dinner lets you spend less time worrying and more time enjoying the people around your table.

This Week's Meal Plan

Sunday

🄩 Herb Butter Top Sirloin Roast

  • Garlic mashed potatoes
  • Roasted green beans
  • Fresh dinner rolls
  • Peach cobbler

A wonderful meal to begin the week together.

Monday

🄪 Hot Roast Beef Sandwiches

Use a few slices of Sunday's roast.

Serve with fresh fruit and kettle chips.

Simple.

Fast.

Delicious.

Tuesday

🌮 Chicken Taco Tuesday

Fresh salsa.

Black beans.

Cilantro lime rice.

A completely different meal from Sunday.

Wednesday

šŸ… Soup & Grilled Cheese

Comfort food.

Minimal dishes.

Perfect for busy evenings.

Thursday

šŸ„— Big Garden Salad

Top with grilled chicken, boiled eggs, or your favorite protein.

Fresh.

Simple.

Healthy.

Friday

šŸ•

Pizza Night

Homemade.

Take-and-bake.

Or your favorite local pizza shop.

Sometimes giving yourself the night off is part of a good meal plan.

Saturday

šŸ” Lazy L Ranch Burger Night

Fresh burgers.

Corn on the cob.

Watermelon.

A relaxed way to wrap up the week.

Sunday Prep (15 Minutes)

Spend just a few minutes getting ahead.

  • Wash lettuce.
  • Chop vegetables.
  • Portion fruit.
  • Prep taco toppings.
  • Set out lunch containers.

Those small tasks make the rest of the week feel easier.

šŸ“µ A Seat at the Table

Before dinner begins...

Try one simple family tradition.

Put the phones away.

Not because technology is bad.

But because the people sitting across from you deserve your full attention.

For one hour...

Share stories.

Laugh together.

Ask about each other's day.

Those moments become tomorrow's memories.

ā˜•

Coffee on the Porch

One of our favorite parts of Sunday happens after the dishes are done.

The sun is beginning to set.

The coffee is warm.

The porch is quiet.

Sometimes those peaceful moments prepare us for everything the week ahead will bring.

Around Our Table

What was your favorite family dinner growing up?

Who made it?

What meal still brings back wonderful memories?

Share your story in the comments.

We'd love to hear it.

Pull Up Another Chair

If someone in your life asks...

"What's for dinner?"

...every afternoon...

Maybe it will make their week just a little easier.

There's Always Room at Our Table.

With gratitude,

The Lazy L Ranch Family
